Dr. Rufus holds a Ph.D in Animal Science from Delta State University, Abraka. Nigeria. He is presently an Associate Professor and Head if Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Abuja. Abuja. Nigeria. Before joining University of Abuja, he lectured at Igbinedion University, Okada and Samuel Adegboyega University, Ogwa, both in Edo State, Nigeria

Dr. Oluwafemi has to his credit, over seventy scholarly publications in both local and international journals as well as presentations at conference. He has held both many academic and administrative positions. He was among the pioneer Senate members of Samuel Adegboyega University, Programme Coordinator and Visiting Scholar of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) among others. Born over six decades ago to Mr and Mrs Joshua Oluwafemi Gbade of Kuole Compound, Ifetedo in Ife South Local Government Area of Osun State, Nigeria, Dr. Oluwafemi Rufus Adebisi is happily married with children.
